Shania Babirye graduated from Bridge, Magamaga in eastern Uganda in 2018. With support from her teachers, and her own hard work, Shania improved so much in class that she scored in Division 2 in her Primary Leaving Examination (PLE).

Sadly, eastern Uganda typically performs poorly in the PLE with only 44% of pupils scoring in Division 1 or 2. Luckily, Shania went to a Bridge School, where 100% of our pupils passed their PLE!

Shania now has the chance to attend a good secondary school. When she’s older, she’d like to be a doctor — with Bridge’s help, she’s one step closer to realising this dream.
