Mlishe Jitu – a game-based app to learn letter sounds and early reading skills. Recommended for pupils in Baby Class, PP1, PP2, Grade 1, and Grade 2. Can be used offline.

Ubongo – a range of reading apps for younger pupils. Recommended for pupils in Baby Class and PP1. Can be used offline.

Feed the Monster (English) – a game-based app to learn letter sounds and early reading skills in English. Recommended for pupils in ECD, Primary 1, and Primary 2. Can be used offline. Find out more

Curious Reader Engagement Book – an interactive e-book experience in English and Swahili. Read with Akili (from Ubongo) and select from 3 difficulty levels.

Longhorn eLearning Platform – Airtel has agreed to provide free internet access for pupils using Longhorn’s eLearning platform. Download the app for personalised eLearning, new content, revision opportunities and progress report.

Radio Lessons from KICD – Kenya Institute of Curriculum Development is running an education radio programme via KBC Channel.

Akili and Me Radio – From Ubongo, a radio programme where kids can learn Math and English. Listen in on Citizen Radio on Saturday at 9:30am and Sunday at 3:00pm

Ubongo Toolkits – Ubongo’s web-based toolkit. Provides videos, e-books, audio, and printables for all primary levels and in English + Kiswahili.

ELIMU Tab, Viusasa – Viusasa has included free access to learning content through their ELIMU tab. Parents need to register via *487# to access free data bundles.
