Meet Kisira Shafik, a 13-year-old pupil at Bridge, Wanyange in the Jinja District of Uganda. He says: “I love Bridge because everyone is welcome here, it doesn’t matter who they are.”

His mother is a teacher and his father is a doctor—he’s happy that he’s working hard, and making them proud!

He adds: “Being a Class Prefect has helped me to learn leadership skills, which I’l need when I become a lawyer. It’s also taught me to interact with people from different places.”
