Moses is one pretty exceptional teacher—he’s been teaching for forty years! He’s now at Bridge Liberia Barraken public school in Maryland County, where all the teachers turn to him for advice.

At 70-years-old, Moses walks approximately an hour to school every morning—others might complain about the distance, but Moses appreciates the time to himself: “I think walking to school every morning is an exercise by itself,” Moses explains, “It makes me strong and mentally fit.”

For him, teaching has been a passion he’s had ever since he was young, and he’s continued to enjoy the rewards and challenges of the profession. At the moment, he teaches nursery and kindergarten pupils, which he really likes. Moses is strict but fair, and wants to see pupils do their very best.

Despite decades of experience, Moses has found a whole new enthusiasm since Bridge brought innovative new methods into the workplace. Now that lesson plans are fully prepared and the right equipment is available, “teaching is far easier,” Moses says.
