Meet Comfort Selma, a pupil at P.G. Wollor Public School.

Comfort has a condition which only enables her to see through one eye, however this hasn’t stopped her from experiencing high-quality education and having an incredible time at her school. She feels happy at school, having made many friends from different backgrounds, who have made her feel welcome.

Okaro Chea, one of Comfort’s favourite teachers, states that he is immensely proud of the strides taken by Comfort to improve her learning. This is in addition to the LEAP programme, which has provided students with new textbooks and technology. “It’s been transformational,” says Chea.
